This Privacy Policy explains how Beequa ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit www.beequa.eu (the "Site"), buy from us or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

  • Order data: the products you buy, order value, order history, returns and refunds.
  • Payment data: payments are handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card details.
  • Account data: if you create an account, your login details and preferences.
  • Communications: the content of your emails and messages to customer support.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have subscribed to our emails and how you interact with them.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and provide customer support – performance of our contract with you.
  • To keep accounting and tax records – compliance with legal obligations.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure – our legitimate interests.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it – your consent, where required for cookies, otherwise our legitimate interests.
  • To send you marketing emails – your consent, or our legitimate interest in sending existing customers information about similar products, where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

We use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the Site and checkout to work. Analytics and advertising cookies (for example from Google, Meta and TikTok) are only used if you accept them through our cookie banner. 5. Who we share your data with

We only share your data where necessary, with:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store (see Shopify's Privacy Policy);
  • payment providers, to process your payment;
  • fulfilment partners and carriers, including our warehouses in the United States and China, to prepare and deliver your order;
  • email and customer service tools, to communicate with you;
  • analytics and advertising partners such as Google, Meta and TikTok, only where you have given consent;
  • professional advisers and public authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

To fulfil your order, some of your data (such as your name, delivery address and order details) is transferred to our fulfilment partners in the United States and China. Our service providers may also process data in other countries outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where these countries do not offer an adequate level of protection, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoicing data for as long as required by tax and commercial laws (generally six years). Account data is kept while your account is active. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Customer service messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and any related claims.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es), the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the authority in your country of residence.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Payments are encrypted and processed by certified payment providers. No online transmission is ever fully secure, so please use a strong password for your account and keep it private.

11. Children

Our Site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
